Loved doing this one…probably my favourite out the three covers. No end of trouble caused with the background shifting from a stone and smoke effect layered with a frame of barb wire, to the plain white background with the shards and beams depicting the pumpkin bomb attacks, the blood moon and the urtadine wisp. Templar’s initial face just a bit too ‘pouty’ for my liking and had to undergo some subtle cosmetic changes. The Knight’s battle with the pixies I deemed too close to Templar’s face, as you can see from earlier images; I felt once painted would become confusing for the viewer. That particular section thus shifted down to the bottom right corner giving Templar’s face more room. Thank you Neptune as always for your invaluable input.
